What Is Community Tap

Community tab is a very cool feature of YouTube, with the help of which you can talk directly to your subscriber. With the help of community tap, you can now create different types of posts for example Text posts, Playlist posts, Image and GIF posts, Video posts, Polls, etc.

How do we eligible for community tap

Creators with over 1,000 subscribers have access to Community posts. It will take up to 1 week to see the Community tab after passing 1,000 subscribers. The Community tab may also be available to other channels as we continue testing this feature.

How to get community tap

If you also want community tab on your YouTube channel then for that you should have 1000 subscriber on your channel. If you have 1000 subscriber then within 1 week community tap will be enabled on your YouTube channel.
Even after having 1000 Subscriber on your channel, community tap is not visible on your channel.

• If your channel is eligible for the Community tab, but you don’t see it, enable custom channel layouts. You can change this setting from your computer by following these instructions. The custom layout must be enabled for the Community tab to be visible.

• If your channel’s audience is set as made for kids, the Community tab is disabled. You also won't be able to create or view posts. Learn more about setting your audience."

How To Apply For Community Tap

Even after 1000 subscribers on your channel, you have to wait for a week for community tapes. Still, community tap is not showing on your channel, then you need to apply for it by following the steps given below.

• Open YouTube Studio app

• After opening, click on the icon above the right side.

• Select the Send Feedback option.

• After clicking, all this has to be written which is given below.

Dear YouTube

I have completed 1000 Subscriber on my (Channel Name ) YouTube channel But still Community Tap is not enable

Please enable my Community Tap as fast as possible.

How to Create a Community post on YouTube using a Mobile Phone

The process for creating a Community post is the same whether you have an iPhone or an Android

•  Open the YouTube app on your iPhone or Android.

•  Tap the icon looks like a circle button icon.

• Select create a post.

• Add your post to the textbox, and upload any other media you want to include.

•  Tap "Post."

• Open YouTube 

• Tap circle button and select Create a post.

• Type a message to create a text post or to add text to an image, GIF, or poll.

• Choose to create a poll or image post.

• In the top right corner, tap the clock icon.

• Choose a date, time, and time zone to publish the post.

• Select Done.

• On the post creation page, click Schedule.

• Go to YouTube Studio  and sign into your account on your Mac or PC, if necessary.

• Click the "Create" button, and select "Create post."

• Type or paste your message into the text box and add an image, GIF, or video, if desired.

• Select Post.

You will now be able to see your Community posts under the "Community" tab of your channel page.

To schedule a Community post

• Sign in to YouTube Studio.

• At the top of the page, select Create and click Create a post.

• In the box at the top:

(a) Type a message to create a text post or add text to an image, GIF, or video post.

(b) Choose to create a video, poll, or image post.

• Click the down arrow next to Post and select Schedule Post.

• Choose a date, time, and time zone to publish the post.

• Select Schedule.

Where can I find my Community Post

You can see all of your Community posts on your channel’s Community tab and under the Content section of YouTube Studio. To see your posts in YouTube Studio

• Sign in to YouTube Studio.

• From the left menu, select Content.

• Click the Posts tab.

If you have scheduled Community posts for a future publish date, they will be in YouTube Studio and in the “Scheduled” section of the Community tab. This section is only visible to you.
